Briana's MRI results

Went back to the orthopedic doctor yesterday to get her MRI results. She has a stress fracture in her foot. She is now in a boot for 6 weeks. What does that mean for my sports fanatic child. No softball this year! Talk about bummed out! She had to call her coach last night and let her know that she was out for the season. Needless to say Briana is very disappointed. She looks forward every year to softball and this will be her first year since she started playing that she won't get to play. She is bummed out and really not looking forward to having to wear that boot at all waking hours. She can take it off at bedtime and when she baths. Hopefully the boot will help Briana's foot to heal correctly and she will be ready for sports this fall. For now she will have to be content cheering her team on from the dugout!

I will post pictures later today of her with it on, they are all outside enjoying the sunshine. It is cooler today than it has been lately so that is kind of disappointing. Today officially marks the start of our summer vacation. Should be interesting! But we are looking forward to it that is for sure! By the time school starts we are all going to be at our ends and ready for school to resume again! It will be a busy summer between the garden, the animals and the activities of the children time will fly by way to quick! Anyway.....
