Day 10 of vacation we went to the Santa Barabara zoo, the beach and the mission. It was a beautiful sunny day, windy but still a good day! The zoo was good and it was Keara's first time to a zoo, not sure how we let that slip by for the past 10 years but we did. She was disappointed that we wouldn't give her money to feed the giraffe but she wouldn't spend her own money either. ;) she eventually got over it. We had a picnic on the beach....where we ate a lot of sand because the wind was crazy. Got to watch some kite surfers, which was cool. And the kids all frolicked in the ocean again. We stopped at the Santa Barabara Mission and walked the grounds, that was beautiful. It has been a wonderful one and half days hanging out with my friend and her husband, eating some wonderful grilled food. Today we will be heading down the coast again towards LA. Going to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley. Tomorrow will begin our longer car days as we start to make our way home. Still many things we are going to see along the way but it will be as we head east again. Hard to believe that we are on the downhill slide of vacation. Time has been flying by. But it sure has been a good time for all of us. Enjoy the pictures!
