Vacation Day 4

The end of day 4. Seems like this vacation is just flying by. We arrived in Crescent City, California around 1:30 local time. Grabbed some lunch and then unpacked the car and got settled into our hotel. We went to the beach to see the ocean and put our feet in the water. Brrrrrr.....the water was COLD!!!! Colby and Briana frolicked in the water for quite awhile. Keara wandered the beach looking for sea shells and Mikayla wrote in the sand.  They LOVED it!!!  Tonight we decided to check out the Pier only to find out that it was closed due to tomorrow being the 4th of July. They will be shooting off fireworks around the pier tomorrow night. The lighthouse is closed tomorrow so we will go tour it on Saturday.  There is a parade tomorrow morning which we are gonna go watch and then head down to the park in the afternoon to check out the activities and then watch the fireworks on the beach tomorrow night. It should be an interesting day.  Here are some of our highlights from today.  The scenery was beautiful and seeing Jason by a big redwood tree was crazy.  Those trees are HUGE!!!!  Enjoy the pictures!
