When little boys play cops and robbers.....

Colby was playing cops and robbers with Briana last night during Mikayla's softball game. Unfortunately it didn't turn out so well for him.....he was hiding behind a light pole and saw Briana so turned to run and ran right into a tree.....he is pretty beat up....poor guy!! We have family pictures tomorrow in Brookings with the Bottelberghe clan.....and he looks terrible....:(

More additions to the family.....

our other cat had her liter of kittens today or possibly last night, we aren't for sure....all we know is that there are 5 of them....ohh, so tiny....when they get a little older I will post pictures of them....just know that for now....we have 9 kittens in our family :)!!

Colby and the seagulls (from our time together in Florida)!!

Back in February when we went to Florida, I told you about Colby's experience with the seagulls. I FINALLY got the video up on youtube, so for those who don't follow me on Facebook, enjoy this video of our son frolicking with the seagulls when we were visting the ocean!!! Hopefully it will bring a chuckle to your lips as it did us!! :)!! This is one of my fondest memories of our time together in Florida!!

New additions to the Bottelberghe family!

4 weeks ago tomorrow our momma kitty had her liter of kittens. 4 of them. One for each kid to pick (yippee!). Another of our cats is pregnant also and will give birth anytime soon I am sure, but for now we have 4 baby kitties at our house. Enjoy the pictures of them! The kids are just in love with those little cuties! I try not to get too attached....always seems they die when I get really attached! Enjoy!

Mother's Day!

Just wanted to post some pics from Mother's Day with my kids! We had a wonderful day together yesterday! We attended church and then had lunch together at Texas Roadhouse. We came home and had present time and then relaxing at home in the afternoon watching tv. We did go house hunting last night in Garretson and Dell Rapids for my parents. Overall it was the most wonderful day ever. I cherished the day and the moments I spent with my family. This is a different year for me but I am continuing to fight with all I have in me. So far I have been winning this battle! With more power and might and many many prayers....I just have a great feeling about my next scan in 6 weeks. We could possibly see NED by then! Wouldn't that be great??? Anyway....enjoy the pics!

I am sorry to have neglected you over the last 6 months.....life has been very weird lately! Dealing with cancer, homeschooling my kids and just life in general have made me push you to the back burner. Does anyone still come and check my blog regularly? If so please leave me a comment so that I know that my blog is still being read. I will try to get better about blogging on here about the things of life. I have been keeping up with my caringbridge sight more often than here. So sorry blog, I will try to be better about updating here more often!!
